On Monday we also visited the place of Outlook in Washington State, USA:

I thoroughly enjoyed Anton Foek's jaunt through the Yakima Valley to Outlook, Washington.

I spent many years from my late teens and afterwards living in the Valley, and have been to Outlook on numerous of occasions.

I've thought too, that it's a very friendly, warm, and beautiful place - even if no one seems overly impressed by a visit from the BBC.

While I haven't been to the Yakima Valley in years, I still remember it fondly.  I can't say that I was particularly homesick at hearing your report, as I'm very happy with where I live now - but I couldn't help but feel the twinges of nostalgia.

Thank you also for pronouncing 'Yakima' the correct way--you sounded almost like a native.
